How to Play

In Choplifter 2, your primary objective is to pilot a helicopter through dangerous enemy terrain to locate and rescue hostages. You must fly left and right across the landscape, carefully landing near groups of hostages to pick them up. Once loaded, you must safely transport them back to your home base. Your helicopter is equipped with a machine gun and limited missiles to defend against enemy soldiers, tanks, and aircraft that will try to shoot you down. You must also manage your fuel supply, as running out will cause you to crash. A key strategy is to prioritize threats: clear out immediate enemies with your weapons before attempting a landing, and avoid taking unnecessary damage by flying at different altitudes. The challenge increases as you progress, with more aggressive enemies and complex level layouts requiring precise navigation and quick reflexes during tense extractions.
