Overview

A side-scrolling action-platformer and the second 3D installment in the Ganbare Goemon series, where players control Goemon and his friends through vibrant feudal Japan-inspired levels.

How to Play

Your goal is to guide Goemon and his companions through a series of side-scrolling stages, defeating enemies, collecting coins (koban), and overcoming environmental obstacles. You can switch between characters like Goemon, Ebisumaru, Sasuke, and Yae, each with unique abilities; Goemon uses his pipe for melee attacks, Ebisumaru can float briefly, Sasuke has a long-range attack, and Yae uses a sword and can double jump. The game features both single-player and cooperative multiplayer modes. In the early stages, focus on learning each character's strengths and collecting as many coins as possible to purchase power-ups and extra lives from shops. The middle part of the game introduces more complex platforming and boss fights, requiring careful use of character abilities and items. During tense moments, such as boss battles, watch for attack patterns and use your character's special moves effectively. Some stages also include first-person shooter segments where you ride a mechanical cat, adding variety to the gameplay.
