Moment-to-moment play involves real-time exploration combined with a unique combat system: when you encounter an enemy, the game shifts to a targeting mode where you can aim for specific body parts to inflict different status effects or break enemy equipment. A key beginner strategy is to master the Risk meter; chaining attacks increases your damage but also raises your Risk, making you more vulnerable to enemy counterattacks.
