In Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, you select one of several playable characters, each with a unique weapon, and battle through a series of stages. Your objective is to defeat the Robot Masters at the end of each stage. During gameplay, you run, jump, and shoot your way through enemy-filled levels, avoiding obstacles and collecting health and weapon energy. A key strategy is to learn each Robot Master's attack patterns and use a character whose weapon is effective against them. The game is fast-paced, with a focus on quick reflexes and memorizing stage layouts. In the early part of a run, focus on conserving health and mastering your character's movement. As you progress, the challenge increases with more complex enemy placements and tougher bosses. During tense moments, such as boss fights, careful dodging and well-timed attacks are crucial for survival.
