Your primary goal is to guide protagonist Soma Cruz through a sprawling castle, defeating enemies and bosses to progress. Moment-to-moment gameplay involves platforming through interconnected rooms and using a variety of weapons and magical attacks to defeat enemies. A core mechanic is the Tactical Soul system: by defeating enemies, you have a chance to absorb their souls, granting you new permanent abilities, weapons, or magical attacks. These souls are categorized into Bullet, Guardian, Enchant, and Ability types, allowing for deep customization of your playstyle.
