Each character has unique magical abilities and attacks with different ranges and area-of-effect patterns. You'll move characters during your turn, then select actions like attacking, using magic, or items. Positioning is crucial - attacking enemies from the side or back deals extra damage, and some spells can hit multiple targets if positioned correctly. In the early game, focus on learning each character's strengths and the rock-paper-scissors elemental system. As you progress, you'll need to coordinate attacks between characters and use support spells effectively. Between battles, you can upgrade equipment, develop relationships through conversation events that unlock new abilities, and manage your party composition for upcoming challenges. During tense moments, prioritize healing vulnerable units and eliminating high-threat enemies first while using the terrain to your advantage.
