概要

PATAPON is a rhythm-based strategy game where players command a tribe of small, eyeball-shaped creatures by drumming out rhythmic commands to guide them through a side-scrolling world.

遊び方

Your goal is to lead the Patapon tribe to Earthend by acting as their god, the Almighty. You issue commands by pressing the four face buttons (Circle, Square, Triangle, Cross) in specific rhythmic sequences to the beat of the game's music. A successful sequence, or 'chant,' will cause your Patapon army to advance, attack, defend, or retreat. Maintaining a perfect beat builds Fever mode, which significantly boosts your army's power and effectiveness. Early on, focus on mastering the basic attack and advance commands to overcome simple enemies. As you progress, you'll need to strategically time your defensive commands to block enemy attacks and use special abilities from different unit types. The core challenge is maintaining rhythm under pressure, especially during boss fights where precise timing is crucial for survival and victory. In tense moments, concentrate on the beat indicator and avoid breaking your combo to stay in Fever mode for as long as possible.
