In Superman: The New Superman Adventures, your primary goal is to protect Metropolis from destruction. You control Superman from a third-person perspective, flying freely around the city. Use Superman's abilities: fly with the control stick, punch and kick for close combat, and unleash heat vision or freeze breath with the buttons. Your health is tied to the city's damage meter; if Metropolis is destroyed, you fail. Early on, focus on learning the flight controls and quickly responding to emergency markers on your radar. In the middle of the game, prioritize stopping larger threats like tornadoes or alien invasions.
