Your primary objective is to guide the amnesiac hero on a quest to restore peace by exploring two parallel worlds. Moment-to-moment play involves navigating towns and dungeons from a top-down perspective, engaging in turn-based combat with enemy monsters you encounter on the map. You will manage a party of characters, each with their own class and abilities, and issue commands each round to attack, cast spells, use items, or defend. A useful beginner strategy is to focus on balanced party composition and frequently return to towns to heal and save your progress, as dungeons can be lengthy. The challenge rhythm involves strategic resource management of HP and MP during exploration, punctuated by boss battles that test your party's strength and preparation.
