In Star Fox Command, your primary objective is to protect the Great Fox and defeat enemy fleets across a series of tactical maps. Each mission begins with a top-down strategic phase where you draw a flight path for your Arwing, aiming to intercept enemy squadrons and missiles before they reach your mothership. Once you engage enemies, the game switches to an action view where you pilot your ship in either on-rails shooting segments or free-roaming all-range mode combat. Use the touch screen for sharp turns and special maneuvers, and tap icons to fire lasers or launch smart bombs. A key strategy is to manage your limited turns on the map efficiently, prioritizing threats and using teammates to cover multiple fronts. In tense moments, focus on evading lock-ons while lining up shots on enemy weak points.
